The City of Keys had three colonies. Vex, New Frontier, Recalcitrance. One lost, one destroyed, one endures.
Recalcitrance crowds itself inside the broken foot of what must have been an unimaginably tall statue. The statue collapsed, or was never finished - only the foot remains, windows carved in its ankle, cannons poking under its toenails, curls of smoke and tips of towers rising above the shattered shin.
